Cookie policy

The storage used by this site and the choices available to you.

Cookies and similar storage

This policy explains the cookies and browser storage used by Visit Majorelle. Cookies are small records a website places in your browser. Local storage keeps information for a website until it is removed; session storage normally lasts for the browser tab session. These technologies can remember a choice, keep a booking flow working or support a service you use.

Apollo Trading UG operates Visit Majorelle. For information about personal data, recipients and your rights, read our Privacy Policy. You can contact us at booking@visitmajorelle.com.

Booking and contact storage

When you start the relevant booking or contact process, we use the following storage to maintain its context and protect against duplicate or invalid submissions. You can read general information pages without starting either process.

__Host-vm_request — up to two hours
A signed, random booking-session identifier supports security checks, reviewing a request and recovering its status. The cookie is restricted to this site, secure HTTPS connections and server access.
__Host-vm_contact — up to one day
A signed, random contact-session identifier supports form security, delivery-status checks and prevention of repeat sends. It does not contain the text of your message.
visitmajorelle.visit.v1.garden and visitmajorelle.visit.v1.combined — browser tab session
Session storage remembers the experience, ticket-category quantities, selected date and time, and tariff version while you move through booking. Customer names, email addresses, telephone numbers and payment-field values are not saved in these records.

Browser expiry does not delete a submitted booking, correspondence or payment record from our business systems. Their retention is explained separately in the Privacy Policy.

Language choices and automatic translation

Eligible information pages can use GTranslate and Google's translation service according to your browser language. An explicit language choice takes priority. The local-storage key visitmajorelle.language.v1 remembers that choice without an application-set expiry; it remains until changed or cleared. Browser history may also remember the choice for the current entry.

Translation currently works independently of the cookie banner. Selecting “Reject optional” does not switch off automatic translation. To return to the original text, choose English in the language menu. A language choice does not grant consent to analytics or marketing.

Google translation may use language cookies such as googtrans or googtransopt and other provider-controlled storage. Their precise lifetimes depend on the provider and browser. Loading translation also creates a connection to Google, which can receive connection information such as your IP address and browser details.

Booking and checkout labels use a separate translation frame containing a fixed public text catalog. Customer fields, booking references, selected visit values and payment information are excluded from that catalog. Contact pages are excluded from this translation integration. Translation can be imperfect; the original English wording remains available.

Payment and other services

A payment provider may use its own cookies or similar technology when you open or use its payment interface, including for transaction security and fraud prevention. See the provider information in our Privacy Policy and the notices displayed in the payment interface. Provider storage and lifetimes can differ from the Visit Majorelle records listed above.

We do not use the language selection or booking-selection records described here for advertising profiles. We will update this policy if the site's storage or services change.

Your browser controls

Your browser lets you inspect, remove or block cookies and site storage. Removing local storage clears a remembered language; removing session storage can clear a visit selection. Blocking booking or contact storage may prevent those processes from working correctly. Browser controls are separate from the choices recorded in our banner.

Changing a choice affects future use; it does not undo a completed transaction or erase information already processed. Contact us for help or to exercise a data-protection right.
